6 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon. 1 hectare (ha) planted 1996, 1.5 ha. Planted 1998, 1.5 planted 1999 - all currently trained onto the 'Scott Henry' trellis system at present.
2 ha. were planted in 2000, trained onto the 'Smart Dyson' system. All jobs in vineyard done by me (except picking). Low cropping levels (7 tonnes/hectare)and excellent quality fruit. The fruit is grown on a very good site well up from river level and the vineyard is currently being accredited 'FRESHCARE GROWER' certification.

"Weemillah vineyard was established in 1980 at Myrrhee. Weemillah is located on a plateau overlooking both the 15 Mile Creek and Boggy Creek Valleys. With an altitude of 580m and red volcanic soils the site is ideal for cool climate wines. Varieties are Rhine Reisling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinor Noir"
