Research
King Valley Vignerons members have a very strong leaning towards research and development, always being open to new and improved methods of production. The constant interchange of ideas amongst its members and willingness to adopt new world technologies has been a major factor in the very high standard of viticulture being practiced in the region.
Since 2000 funding has been sought from the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation (GWRDC) to undertake local research and to conduct industry seminars in order to disseminate the latest grape and wine research findings. Many of these projects have been conducted in a collaborative approach with industry partners and research organisations.
More recently, with the opportunity of funding from the National Landcare Program, the group has embarked on an integrated approach to sustainable production.
